If this is the wrong place for this sort of post, I’m sorry; let me know, and I’ll post elsewhere.
I’ve started watching season 1 a few times now in the past few years, including getting 4-5 episodes in, and the problem is I honestly can’t follow the plot. Its just scene after scene where I don’t know whats going on. I tried reading some of the books, and then I understood why she pushed Bran out the window, and why Ned was summoned by the King from Winterfell, but then when I continued, there were so many characters and so many different scenes, that I just don’t get it.
Is there some place I can read a summary about the beginning or something to get me started? I love LotR, Star Wars, fantasy/sci-fi stuff, and I’ve never had a series where I just couldn’t follow the plot; everyone tells me “its a bit confusing, yeah” but i’m really not following. Any advice to help me get into the series?
