Capcom details Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition

Capcom has issued details of what the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 2 will contain.

The hotly anticipated remake of the 1998 survival horror game – held by many to be the best Resident Evil game of all – is on schedule to release on January 25, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Publisher Capcom has so far released details of the US variant of the Deluxe Edition, which will be priced at $69.99 ($10 more than the Standard Edition).

For that, North American (and presumably European) gamers will get a reversible cover, along with the Deluxe DLC Pack, which brings five costumes, a weapon and the original game’s soundtrack. To be precise, Claire Redfield will get Elza Walker (an early version of Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 1.5), Military and Noir costumes; Leon will get Noir and Arklay Sheriff costumes; and the Albert Model Samurai Edge Pistol will be added to the game’s roster of weapons.

Capcom has already announced a £230 Collector’s Edition of the game, which features a 12-inch Leon figurine. For further Resident Evil 2 news, keep an eye on its website.
